1/2 Cup Jaggery
1 Cup Water
1/4 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder
1 Tablespoonful Ghee
Ghee To deep fry
Procedure:
Heat water and add jaggery to it in a pan. Stir well till they mix to form a viscous liquid. Keep it aside to cool. Add ghee and cardamom powder to the refined flour and make a dough with the mixture of water and jaggery. Knead to make a stiff dough. Make small balls out of it and design them with the help of knife and fork. Let them get dried for another half an hour. Now deep fry. Soak extra ghee with a tissue paper. After they cool down to room temperature, serve them.
This dish can be savored even after the festival of Diwali is over due to it's dry form if kept in a cool and dry place. But, the taste will lure everyone that you will have to prepare it again and again.
